Hey there! I’m Harleen 👋

I have 6 years of experience in UX Design ✨, where I’ve applied a range of research methodologies 🔍 and crafted intuitive interfaces 🎨. I’ve collaborated with agile teams across the globe 🌍, helping bring solutions to life in fast-paced, cross-functional environments ⚡.

I studied Industrial Design 🛠️ and interned in the field, which gave me a solid foundation in user-centered thinking 🧠. In 2020, I made a smooth shift into UX design 💻 , thanks to the shared focus on research, design thinking, and solving real problems for real people 🤝.

Personal Life…

I was born and raised in Muscat, Oman 🇴🇲, and moved to Delhi, India 🇮🇳 after high school. The shift not only exposed me to a vibrant new culture but also helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Now, years later, life looks a little different but just as exciting! My husband & I now share our home with the fluffiest roommate ever – our chow chow, Mango! 🐾

My Interests

Back in school, I was a student leader and always up for anything beyond the classroom. From debates and elocutions to drama, dance, and art, I loved being on stage just as much as on the field. I dabbled in everything; athletics, karate, hockey, football and even brought home quite a few wins along the way! 🏆🎭⚽🥋

I also got the chance to do part-time modeling, hosting, and emceeing during high school and college 💃🎤✨. It was a fun and exciting way to step into the world of fashion 👗, connect with fellow creatives 🎨, and sharpen my public speaking skills along the way 🗣️🎯.

Currently, I love unwinding with a good book or spending time in my little terrace garden- it’s my green escape 🌿. My husband and I try to stay consistent with our gym sessions (workout buddies for life 💪). On weekends, you’ll usually find me hunting down theatre shows, art exhibitions, or design events around the city- I’m always up for meeting creative, like-minded people and soaking in some inspiration! 🎭✨

Hands-On Creativity

I’ve always found joy in creating with my hands, exploring different materials and mediums along the way. Water colour painting has been a constant favourite, but studying Industrial Design opened up a whole new world – introducing me to traditional Indian crafts, woodworking, bamboo craft, and sketching. There’s something incredibly satisfying about bringing ideas to life through tactile, hands-on making! 🎨🛠️

At my Core

While 🎨 creativity fuels my work as a designer, it’s 💛 empathy that truly drives me. During college, I focused on projects that created social impact, including my graduation project ( you can check it out on my Behance! 👀✨).

Beyond design, I’m deeply passionate about animal welfare 🐶 🐾. Growing up, I was always the kid rescuing strays, and that hasn’t changed! For the past three years, I’ve been preparing one daily meal 🍲 for the stray dogs in my neighbourhood, just a small way to show them some love.

I also volunteer bi-weekly at the Sanjay Gandhi Animal Care Centre.
